Triple SSS Sports Cards is a Detroit Metropolitan Area company that features a wide inventory of cards spanning all the major sports. One high-demand issue handled by Triple SSS Sports is the Lebron James rookie, which has consistently increased in value over the past two decades.
With 62 distinct rookie issues to select from, as well as parallels and inserts, one starting point for many collectors is the 2003-04 Topps Chrome #111 rookie. Despite not being particularly rare, the base version of this James issue sells in the $4,000 range for those graded PSA 9. Even rarer are parallel Refractors of the Topps Chrome series, with less than 170 of the issue graded PSA 10 in circulation. One of these gem mint items sold at auction for more than $106,000 in December 2020.

At the top of the heap is the Upper Deck #78 2003-04 Exquisite Collection Autograph and Patch (limited to 99), which was released within a set that initially attracted attention for the $500 price tag per pack. Featuring a multi-colored patch, the card also has a 23-card parallel series, with one Beckett 8.5 graded example going for $270,000 at auction in 2019.
